Gina Iacone, founder of Riverwood Realty, has been in the real estate business since 1973. Her career began in the Philadelphia suburbs in sales and spanned many years there into management and then regional management of real estate companies serving the Tri-State Area of Pennsylvania, Delaware and New Jersey. In 2001, she and her husband Bill, purchased a home in Riverwood. By July of 2002, they moved to Riverwood full time and in April of 2003, she started Riverwood Realty and has been happily serving the real estate needs of this community since then.
In January of 2008, Gina brought in a partner, Anita Baltierra, to help run the business and as of January 2010, she resigned from the partnership to continue to list and sell, which she loves to do, but has more free time.
Gina is married to Bill Iacone and they have 2 children, Matt and Drew. Matt and his wife, Vanessa, live in West Chester, Pennsylvania and have 4 children. Drew and his wife, Cheryl, live in Collingswood, NJ and have a daughter.
The most important things to know about Riverwood, from Gina's perspective, is that it is a joy to be able to work and live in this wonderful community. Moving to Riverwood is more then living in a house. It is a lifestyle. There are a million things to do, it is beautiful and tropical, it is fun and the people are great! She LOVES living in Riverwood and LOVES helping others with their real estate needs in Riverwood.

Tom lived and worked in Homestead, Florida for 28 years where he was active in the community. He is a past president of the Chamber of Commerce of Homestead and was selected Citizen of the Year in 1999. He joined Riverwood Realty in mid-2003.
Tom and his wife, Connie, are Riverwood residents and have two adult children and four grandchildren. He is an Elder at the New Day Christian Church in Port Charlotte and a member of Charlotte Chorale singing group.

Debbie Venezia is pleased to be a member of the Riverwood Realty Team! Debbie and her husband, John, are blessed with two children and five grandchildren. They lived in St. Louis, Missouri where they owned Venezia Reporting and Video Services, Inc. John was a Court Reporter and Videographer and Debbie was the Office Manager and Bookkeeper.
They spent many years vacationing with family and friends in beautiful Boca Grande, Florida and as a result they made it their permanent residence in 2002. Debbie started her real estate career in Boca Grande while John opened a Massage Therapy Business. Debbie and her husband love living and working in Southwest Florida where the sun shines almost every day and they now have their home in the lovely community of Riverwood.

Greg Fabos has an extensive background in customer service and satisfaction.... earned by over 35 years in sales management, marketing, public relations and real estate sales. As a 9 year resident of Riverwood, Greg has participated in listing and closing multiple sales within the Port Charlotte area. Well known, and active on several committees within Riverwood, Greg has emceed the very popular Riverwood Olympics Riverwood's Got Talent and several other Riverwood social events. He is also active as a tennis player, and is a member of the Riverwood softball team.
Greg's career also includes Radio Station Ownership, and Advertising Agency Management, where he has directed successful marketing, advertising and fund raising campaigns for a major West Coast grocery store chain, several local auto dealers and special entertainment venues, as well as for the largest parish church in the State of Oregon.
A graduate of the University of Wisconsin, with a Marketing Major, Greg brings a very strong sales background to the service of his clients, who find him honest, friendly, respected, energetic and attentive to their needs. My husband's family started the migration to Punta Gorda in Southwest Florida in the mid 1970's from the Chicago suburbs. We continued the trend in 1987, first in the Tampa area and then in 1998 we relocated to Port Charlotte. Having been raised in the suburbs of Chicago, we have a deep appreciation for all that southwest Florida has to offer year round. From boating, fishing, beaches, great sunsets, small town atmosphere but still in close to the "big" cities of Ft. Myers, Naples, Venice, Sarasota, Tampa, Miami and Orlando. Just a short 3 hours drive to some of the biggest attractions the United States has to offer to a short drive to some of the best beaches in the United States! What more could anyone ask for in location and lifestyle?
Growing up in the Chicago area, I have great admiration of the different architectural styles and designs that the city and region developed. Having started my career as a food technologist, I continued to have the appreciation for construction and housing. When I decided to make a career change, I knew I did not have the time (or the patience) to go back to school to become an architect, but decided to try another route by working for and with a builder. I studied new construction for a year as a market researcher for a company that studied the trends of new construction before I went into selling new construction. I went to work for Centex Homes in Riverwood, a gated golf course community in Port Charlotte, Florida. I sold new construction homes for 7 years in Riverwood. I enjoyed working with customers from the selection of their home and home site, selection of structural options and guiding them through the construction process and finally moving in. As a natural progression, I have moved to Riverwood Realty to be able to offer my old and new customers more options from new construction to resales, specializing in Riverwood and locations in Southwest Florida and all types of communities, such as active adult, golf, boating, beach, waterfront and historic districts.
My history and knowledge of the area compliments my sales expertise which enables me to design a new home search or a sales plan that meets my customers needs. I believe in taking the time up front to determine your desires and needs to save you time in the actual search or selling of your home. My husband of 30 years and my daughters are proud owners of a small cafe in the historic distric of Punta Gorda as we are committed to the area and the growth and future of Southwest Florida.
