Gina Iacone - Broker/Owner

Gina Iacone has over 32 years of real estate experience in sales and management and regional management of both conventional and 100% concept real estate companies.

She began her career in Exton, Pennsylvania, which is about 30 miles west of Philadelphia. In the early years of sales, Gina balanced her home and work life as a multi-million dollar sales agent. In the early 80's she was asked to become a manager of the real estate office. In the following years, she successfully managed offices in one of the largest conventional Real Estate Companies in Pennsylvania, Delaware and New Jersey and became a Vice President of that organization. At a later time in her career, she became Regional Director for RE/MAX of Southeastern Pennsylvania and Delaware. In that experience, Gina helped brokers of 80+ RE/MAX offices and 1500+ agents achieve their goals.

In 1997, she founded Bottom Line Solutions in Pennsylvania, “A Real Estate Consulting Group”.

Gina and her husband, Bill, moved to Florida in July of 2002. She pursued her Real Estate Brokers License and began selling in Florida right away. By April of 2003, she started Riverwood Realty. Riverwood Realty as of July 2005 has achieved over $25,000,000 in production with over 50 transaction sides and is the NUMBER 1 Realtor for Riverwood, an exclusive gated golf community in Port Charlotte, Florida. 

Anita Baltierra - Broker/Owner

Anita Baltierra moved to Florida in January 1995 from Minneapolis, Minnesota. Anita holds a BA degree in Business Administration and Marketing from the College of St Teresa in Winona,

Minnesota. Prior to starting a family, Anita completed one year towards her MBA at the College of Saint Thomas in St Paul, Minnesota and worked 15 years in Management, Marketing, and Sales for American Hospitality Management Company and Investments.

In Minnesota, Anita was very active in the community where she lived. She served as vice president of the Lakeville Chamber of Commerce; as a member of the Lakeville Economic Development committee; as a board member of the Dakota County Convention and Visitors Bureau, and was an elected board member of the condominium association where she resided. In 1982, she received the "Dakota County Employer of the Year Award". For the past five years, prior to becoming a Realtor with Riverwood Realty, Anita fulfilled the Lifestyle Activities Coordinator position for the Riverwood Community Association and has been an active volunteer in her church and at her son's school. Anita lives with her family in North Port, Florida.

Tom Thrasher - Agent

Tom Thrasher was born in Kokomo, Indiana, and relocated to Florida in 1973. He was a banker for 42 years. His career included all aspects of banking, such as financing and marketing. He attended Purdue University and is a graduate of the BMA School of Bank Marketing.

Tom lived and worked in Homestead, Florida for 28 years where he was active in the community. He is a past president of the Chamber of Commerce of Homestead and was selected Citizen of the Year in 1999. He joined Riverwood Realty in mid-2003. Tom and his wife, Connie, are Riverwood residents and have three adult children and four grandchildren.

Douglas Coventry - Marketing and Office Specialist

Douglas was born in Cuckfield, England – the second of four boys. He moved to Pennsylvania shortly after that and relocated to Southwest Florida in 1989. He spent his college years in Boone, North Carolina, graduating from Appalachian State University in 1998. He then moved to Colorado and California before settling back in Punta Gorda, Florida.

He has worked in the offices of the Nestle and Nextel Corporations and now dedicates time to the Performing Arts Development Cooperative of Punta Gorda, a school devoted to teaching young people the creative arts of ballet and theatre.

Greg Fabos - Agent

Greg Fabos comes to Riverwood Real Estate as a Realtor with 6 years of successful sales experience with ERA Advantage Real Estate in Port Charlotte, Florida. As a six year season resident of Riverwood, Greg has participated in listing and closing multiple sales within Riverwood. Well know, and active on several Committees within Riverwood, Greg has emceed the very popular Riverwood Olympics for the past two years, as well as several Riverwood social events.

Greg's background includes over 30 years in Broadcasting Sales, Management and Station Ownership. As the CEO of Advantage Marketing Consultants for the past 15 years, Greg has directed successful marketing, advertising, and fund raising campaigns for a major West Coast Food Chain, several local auto dealers and special entertainment venues, as well as the largest parish church in the State of Oregon. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin, with a Marketing Major, Greg brings a very strong sales career to the service of his clients, who find him honest, respected, energetic, and attentive to their needs. As Greg says, "My main objective to each of my clients is to treat them with the ultimate in professionalism, follow though and understanding, as I help them purchase the home of their dreams, or move on to the next level of their life.... I will get results for you."

Debbie Venezia - Sales Associate/Realtor

Debbie Venezia is pleased to be the newest member of the Riverwood Realty Team! Debbie and her husband, John are blessed with two children and five grand children. They lived in St. Louis, Missouri where they owned Venezia Reporting and Video Services, Inc. John was a Court Reporter and Videographer and Debbie was the Office Manager and Bookkeeper.

They spent many years vacationing with family and friends in beautiful Boca Grande, Florida and as a result they made it their permanent residence in 2002. Debbie started her real estate career in Boca Grande while John opened a Massage Therapy Business. Debbie and her husband love living and working in Southwest Florida where the sun shines almost every day and they now have their home in the lovely community of Riverwood.
